It was fantastic to welcome colleagues from the British Veterinary LGBT+ Society (BVLGBT+) to 趣夜app HQ in Mansfield Street this weekend where we gathered to celebrate the society鈥檚 annual London Pride Parade event.
The day started with听a few words from 趣夜app听President Rob Williams and BVLGBT+ President Helen Redpath.听Then those taking part in the parade, in their best glitter and rainbow attire, joined the wider Pride community to celebrate diversity and inclusion.听
We鈥檙e听committed to creating a profession where everyone feels welcome,听respected听and able to be themselves, and Pride is a wonderful annual event that gives us the opportunity to celebrate diversity within the veterinary community.听听
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, marched,听volunteered听or showed their support.听For those that听couldn鈥檛听make it,听there鈥檚听more Pride events to come and there are still places available to join BVLGBT听at Bristol Pride on Saturday 11 July. Find out more on听its听website:听听
