趣夜app One Health and Sustainability Award

The 趣夜app One Health and Sustainability Award is awarded in memory of 趣夜app Past President Professor Simon Doherty, a champion of sustainability and One Health. This award celebrates veterinary-led initiatives that have driven increased awareness and action on the issues and successful projects will demonstrate a tangible impact using One Health principles.听

What do we define as One Health?听

One Health is the collaborative effort of multiple professionals, together with related disciplines and institutions鈥�鈥�鈥�working locally, nationally, and globally鈥�鈥�鈥�towards optimal health and wellbeing for people, domestic animals, wildlife, plants, and our environment.鈥�听

Who can enter

叠痴础鈥檚 One Health and Sustainability Award is open to anyone working within the veterinary professions (RCVS registered vets, Registered Vet Nurses, other vet practice staff, scientists, other related fields) or whole teams within the sector.鈥�听

What are the judges looking for听

The judges are looking for a single statement (maximum 400 words) which outlines and evidences:听

Leadership in One Health鈥�听
Veterinary-led action promoting One Health principles via sustainable methods and outcomes.鈥�听

Tangible impact鈥�听
Clear outcomes or measurable change within the workplace, community, environment, or profession.听听

Efforts that have increased understanding, engagement, or dialogue around One Health.鈥�听
