Our structure

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group (EDIAG) plays a key role in advising on EDI considerations across a wide range of our activity. EDIAG works closely with 趣夜app Officer and the 趣夜app team to:

  • Advise Policy Committee and 趣夜app working groups on EDI considerations relating to policy development.
  • Advise the Member Benefits and Events Committee on EDI considerations relating to the development of member benefits and resources.
  • Horizon scan for EDI issues of relevance for 趣夜app

听

EDIAG is a relatively new group at 趣夜app, originally convened informally in 2023 and more recently achieving approval from 趣夜app Board and support from 趣夜app Council as a standing committee.

EDIAG members

EDIAG will be composed of eight members, including:

  • One representative nominated by British Veterinary LGBT+
  • One representative nominated by British Veterinary Ethnicity and Diversity Society
  • One representative nominated by British Veterinary Chronic Illness Support
  • One representative nominated by Animal Aspirations
  • Three independent members
  • One recent graduate
